Jenn has been a member of the K-State Art Department since 2017, serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Instructor, and Area Coordinator. In 2021, Jenn transitioned to the role of Academic Advisor. She provides academic advising to undergraduate students; monitors student progress; and assists with academic activities, policies, and decisions. She also meets with prospective and transfer students interested in majoring in Art.
In addition to advising, Jenn is a practicing artist. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally at venues such as Zari Gallery in London, UK and at the National Museum for Women in the Arts (where she represents the state of Kansas as part of the Her Flag collaborative art project, partially funded by the New York Foundation for the Arts). Through layered watercolor and oil paint, Jenn’s works explore her experiences with gender and identity. Much of her recent work has focused on topics concerning Assemblage Theory and the construction of identity.
