Community Programs
The Department of Art is pleased to announce a new series of community-focused creative courses design to connect youth, adults, and lifelong learners with hands-on studio experiences at Kansas State University. In alignment with university priorities surrounding community engagement and continuing education, these offerings are intended to create accessible opportunities for participants to explore creativity, material processes, and the visual arts within a university studio environment.
This summer's programming includes two clay-focused workshops for youth and two wheel-throwing courses for adult learners ranging from complete beginners to intermediate potters. Whether participants are exploring clay for the first time or returning to the studio after years away, the Department of Art is excited to welcome the broader community into its creative spaces.
Please check this page regularly for the most up-to-date course offerings, registration information, and future workshop announcements as the department continues expanding its outreach programming in the years ahead.
