B.F.A. in Painting, Rhode Island School of Design, 2000
Molly has been involved in the Department or Art since 2010, as an instructor, grad student, and advisor. After her first experience teaching Water Media, she decided to pursue her MFA at K-State so she could continue working with students. Since then, she has taught classes in Drawing, Painting, Two-Dimensional and Three-Dimensional Design. Molly is currently enjoying her role as the advisor in the K-State Department of Art, helping guide students in their individual academic pursuits in Art.
Molly has lived in Colorado, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Washington and now Kansas since 2008. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Painting, her work with pressed seaweed specimens was featured in Martha Stewart Living Magazine. She has worked as a children’s librarian, has proudly held a permit to collect roadkill for scientific purposes for natural history museums, and was a display coordinator for the store Anthropologie.
Molly is a practicing artist and has shown her work regionally and nationally. She uses primarily mixed media, pastels, and watercolor, while her site-specific installation work engages both two and three-dimensional space with everyday materials such as tape, spaghetti, and rabbit poop.
