K-State Metals Club is a student run organization for students interested in the metalsmithing and jewelry making craft. As a club, we participate in many exciting events including visiting artist lectures and demonstrations, the Mini Maker Faire, (happens every fall in Aggieville), and an assortment of group activities, such as club meetings and pizza parties. We are always looking for new ways to broaden our spectrum in the craft of metalsmithing and jewelry. Please visit our Facebook page!
The Painting and Drawing Collaboration group (formerly known as Painting Society) is a group of student painters and drawers formed to create unity and networks between artists, create and exhibit works, and just have fun. Activities include participating in drawing and painting workshops, en plein air painting at the Konza and movie nights. We also take field trips to the First Friday's in Kansas City and museums in the region. Check our Facebook page!
The KSU Photo Club acts as a forum for students to engage in photography and explore the diverse aspects associated to image-making. Activities include, but are not limited to, themed picture-taking parties, discussions, traveling to museums or conferences, fundraising, hosting events and workshops. Kansas State University Potter's Guild is a club for all students interested in ceramic arts. Each semester The Guild has a sale of student and faculty made wares. The proceeds are then divided between the participating artists and The Guild. With these funds The Guild brings in visiting artists for lecture and demonstrations. The Guild also makes it possible for students to attend the annual ceramics conference NCECA. Check out the ceramics Facebook page!
Pussycat Press is a student governed art club held in the realm of printmaking, but not hesitant to welcome all art students who are willing to grow as an artist. Our main focus is to learn more about what being a professional artist means in the real world. We achieve this through holding regular meetings, fundraisers, and off-campus student exhibitions all while having fun and working hard. Checkout our Facebook page!
