The objectives of the Visual Communication area include:
- Developing a human centered program which encourages and challenges students to achieve and experience learning.
- Establishing meaningful interaction between students and faculty, at all stages of creative and technical growth within the program, is expected.
- Care for the students creative output as well as a professional attitude is nurtured.
- The faculty educates and encourages student artists/designers by providing an experience that develops motivation, self-discipline, excellence and individuality in students.
- It is the goal of the faculty to creatively teach creativity.
- To establish a dialogue with students to encourage social responsibility and high ethical standards within their field of study.
- The KSU program is connected to the area’s industry through the Visual Communication internship program. Also we are involved with the AIGA organization through our student organization (a national professional organization, www.aiga.org). We also have a commitment to international education through student and faculty exchange programs.
