The Digital Arts program at K-State takes an interdisciplinary approach to the field of Digital Arts, drawing from disciplines including graphic design, fine art, computer science and engineering. Students learn to create rich, interactive content using the latest technologies in Web design and development, animation, and video. The Digital Arts program will prepare the student for entry into careers including fine artist, web designer, multimedia designer or 2D/3D animator.

Students have to complete 21 hours from the following courses:

  • Art 400 – Computer Imaging
  • Art 575 – Digital Environment (may be repeated)
  • Art 608 – Computer Animation (may be repeated)
  • Art 623 – Advanced Concepts (may be repeated)
  • Art 631 – New Media Seminar
  • Art 580 – Sr Studio
  • AND Repeat a course or take Art 582, Art 576, or Art 611.
