Manhattan Stacks

Location: West side of West Stadium, along Denison

To construct the piece wet bricks were purchased from a brick company. Harrison worked with K-State students to stack and cut the bricks. He then had them numbered and fired. He returned to erect the piece outside. The bricks were mortared and bits of broken pots added to the mortar. The top pieces are corrugated pipe, cut and stacked, and filled with concrete.
