Ernie Barrett started out as a K-State basketball player in 1951 for the NCAA. He went on to become an assistant coach, athletic director, and the director of development for K-State.
He was a part of the construction of many K-State athletic complexes and academic facilities. He is currently an employee of K-State.
Richard Bergen currently resides in Salina. He also created the Bronze Wildcat and the Marianna Kistler Beach. He graduated Kansas State in 1963.
